A RIDING SCHOOL AND LIVERY YARD WHICH IS PROUD TO BE DIFFERENT
Fir Tree Farm is a professional but friendly yard owned and run by husband and wife team, David and June Simmonds.
June is a certified EAQ Equine Assisted Learning Facilitator and a Reiki
Master and Teacher. Also as an accredited Enlightened Equitation Teacher (Level 2) she
can offer lessons on the Equisimulator designed by Heather Moffett whom June continues to train with.
The yard does have the traditional BHS approval and staff are BHS qualified but if you associate such phrases
as "dominate", "force","show them who is boss", "give him a kick!" "If he wont
do it whack him" etc then Fir Tree Farm Equestrian Centre is not for you. Here we strive to work in harmony with
a horse. All horses and ponies, whether livery, riding school or our own private animals are treated as individuals,
with respect and kindness. All staff are Reiki trained and the horses thoroughly enjoy having a Reiki treatment whether
from staff or when participating on Reiki training days.
